Stupid Education System
The competitive exam format is a Titanic mess. Kids are studying 365 days non stop for 3-4 years to crack these exams. The cost of failure is naturally too high. Education needs to be broken down into smaller installments, so that students don’t waste too much time on something that does not interest them. Fail and move on, as the start up world likes to say. 3-4 years is too much time (and money) spent in graduation. 1-2 years of specialized study is enough to emerge as someone who can contribute in an entry level job. Learn on the job and go back to college for another year to learn more if you wish. Learning needs to continue throughout life. Titles like Graduate and Masters need to be junked. You are not a master of anything at 24. At 18, you are barely trusted to vote, drive and drink, how can you be expected to say with confidence that “I want to spend the rest of my life in a Chemistry lab doing titrations.”
